Love the fountain! I would like to hear more about this subject. I am thinking of adding a fountain in my apartment. But where does the water go? and will it increase my water usage? Will I have a problem with pigeons flying into my window or god forbid into my apartment?

My grandmother used to do this. I remember being at her house once when she was changing the slip covers on her sofa and chairs. It really is wise. Our next couch will be slip covered, so we can do this. Everything lasts much longer this way.

Good morning,

Actually I don't think you have to hide the air conditioner, you need it! just decorate around it and have your eyes focus on the decor around it rather than the A/C itself.....for e.g. cafe curtains above it, venetian blinds on the window and a plant just below the A/C.........................try it!

Sincerely,
Carmen

I didn't know it was a tradition, but back when I was younger and lived in New York City I too would change the entire look of my apartment in Winter and in Spring/Summer. It was a wonderful feeling.

[...] “I love this idea because I find so much wedding day gear is disposed of, while not necessarily being disposable. There are several amazing dresses (some worn once, some not at all) up for sale on the site. I have no problem buying a designer gown that is outrageously priced knowing that I can sell it later. Living in NYC, storing a wedding dress indefinitely is not always practical anyway.” You can check out the entire article here. [...]
